D&M Piranha Beast
New from D&M Custom Baits comes the Piranha Beast Swim Jig, a vibrating style lure engineered specifically for attaching soft plastic swimbaits as trailers. For years anglers have chosen to pair swimbaits with chatterbaits in order to present an erratic swimming action that bass can't resist. Anglers all over the country have enjoyed success with this combination, however, many remarked on the swimbait's restricted swimming action - while very effective, there was room for improvement.
In order to enable uninhibited swimming, D&M engineered a hinged design which incorporated the Owner Beast Swimbait hook. The resulting lure is the Piranha Beast Swim Jig - sharing all the great swimming action of the original Piranha, the Beast version is specifically for swimbaits. Not only does the lure swim more fluidly, the coil keeper on the hook also serves to keep the swimbait intact longer than threading onto a regular jig hook. We offer the Piranha Beast Swim Jig in two models, both 1/2oz in weight. The standard model possesses a 6/0 Beast hook while the baby version is equipped with a 4/0.
