During the Winter months anglers in most parts of the country are counting the days until spring. Organizing tackle, watching old tournaments on tv, and pitching a jig into the tin cup can get old real quick. For those anglers - we're sorry. Based in California, we at Monster Fishing Tackle get the opportunity to fish all year round. This time of the year does get cold and at times bites can be tough to come by - that said, here are some of our winter go to's.

Swimbaits can produce giants this time of year - check out the
Rago Swimbaits.

Roboworm 6" Straight Tail |
|
Sometimes you've just gotta go finesse. The
Roboworm 6" Straight Tail can be used on the dropshot, shakey head, or just texas rigged.

Duh Spoon |
Spoons are awesome during the winter months. Bass suspend in large groups just waiting for dying shad to fall right onto their dinner plate.

Megabass Vision 110+ |
Jerkbaits are always a good choice when the water temperatures drop. The new
Megabass Vision 110+ is a deeper diving jerkbait with the same fish catching ability of the original vision 110.
Another key product isn't a lure its in fact the cold-weather gear. If you plan to be out in the elements why not properly suit up so you can stop the shivering and enjoy yourself. Our new
Simms Pro Dry Gear is fantastic.
