Alabama Rig - JSJ Lures Bama Rig

JSJ Bama Rig

The JSJ Bama Rig is a multi lure rig that features a central head from which five wires extend each wire possessing a snap swivel for attaching a total of five lures. The win by Paul Elias at the FLW Tour Open at Lake Guntersville introduced the world to the Alabama Rig and displayed its effectiveness on big bass. In the months to come, anglers all over the country found similar results using the lure on their own bodies of water. The wildly popular Alabama Rig spawned umbrella rig creations from just about every manufacturer, each putting their own unique spin on the concept. JSJ Baits, known for their innovation and attention to detail, has delivered their own umbrella rig named the the Bama Rig. The Bama Rig exhibits some neat features that not only increase the bait's attractiveness, but also creates a more efficient method of storage when not using the lures. Right off the bat, anglers will notice the head of the lure has a detailed paint finish. In addition to the aesthetic properties, the head of the lure is hydrodynamic and will create less drag as it's retrieved through the water enabling the baits to produce optimal swimming action. The neatest feature of the Bama Rig is the large split ring over the wires. When storing this bait simply pull the split ring down to the snap swivels and close the umbrella - this is a benefit that will be truly realized by anglers who have attempted to store their rigs without success; its not easy. When fishing the lure the split ring will slide right to the head and won't interfere with any action of the lures. The components of this bait are premium throughout and will withstand the test of time and hopefully some giant bass. We offer the JSJ Bama Rig in four colors: Bluegill, Chartreuse Shad, Harbor Hitch and White Shad.
